''Red Hot 100'', photographer and redhead Thomas Knights' groundbreaking and best-selling book, helped to spark a revolution in the way Red haired men were perceived.
Now in his new book “Red Hot II”, he keeps the core message of the original - redefining the “ginger stereotype” with a strong anti-bullying message - but this time, focuses on celebrating what makes redheads unique, with a focus on pale skin, freckles, black, and mixed-race redheads.
And unlike the original “Red Hot 100” book, which focused exclusively on men and on close-up portraits, “Red Hot II” includes women, and has more full body shots (but there is no full frontal nudity). There is also a new luxury aesthetic, provided by British designer Elliott James Frieze, characterized by a midnight blue material background and embossed silver writing. The models' individual stories and unique looks are given more focus, with personal quotes from each sharing their stories and experiences.
